Home-Console Trail Competition

Surround asks players to trap opponents while avoiding their trails. Its variations add Speed Up, Diagonal Movement, Wrap Around, and Erase. These features are mode-specific, not simultaneously present in every game.

Original Platform and Player Modes

Atari’s original instructions identify the 1977 Atari 2600 release and one- or two-player play. Original joystick controls are historical context, not verified controls for a browser recreation.
