Fruit, Body Length, and Gravity

Guide snakebirds through spatial puzzles. Eating fruit lengthens their bodies, changing the support arrangements and shapes available for pushing, lifting, and reaching exits. Later stages introduce teleporting.

Controls and Availability

This profile covers the single-player Steam PC edition for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Keyboard and mouse interaction, plus gamepad support, are documented in PC player accounts. Undo, restart, and switching the active bird support experimentation.

Release and Puzzle Boundaries

Noumenon Games released Snakebird on May 4, 2015. Gravity, spikes, and falls are puzzle constraints, not a standard wrapping or hard-wall arcade perimeter. This original game is separate from Primer and Complete. The linked video is its release trailer.
