A Snake-Inspired Moving Squad

Team Soda’s Snake Force is a top-down shooter in which rescued soldiers join a line and shoot toward the same point. Bullets hurt whatever they hit, making squad shape and friendly fire central considerations.

Modes and Availability

The linked Steam edition is free to play and supports Windows and macOS. Steam lists single-player play; the user-generated Multiplayer tag is not treated as proof of multiplayer support. A Shift-key action is documented, establishing keyboard input; complete bindings still require a build check.

Edition and Gameplay Scope

Steam released November 18, 2021. The developers identify an earlier Ludum Dare 40 prototype but do not assign that prototype’s date to this edition. The game includes five levels and a secret mode, with an estimated 30–45-minute playtime. This is a Snake-inspired shooter, not traditional food-and-tail scoring. The video is its reveal trailer.
