dsd164 recreates classic Nokia-style Snake with dot-matrix visuals, monotone sounds, familiar phone layouts, and multiple handset modes. This is a modern recreation, not original Nokia firmware.

Controls and Platforms

The creator hub provides browser, desktop, and mobile access information. Browser keyboard, touch, and gamepad support are documented. The current record does not promise identical controls on every platform.

Release and Mode Scope

The creator dates the project to 2011. Wall and wrapping rules vary with the selected phone mode, including Snake 1 and Snake 2 variants. Selectable speeds are levels rather than a continuous slider. The linked video is the developer’s mobile trailer.
