Each fruit receives five randomized effects, revealed when eaten. Those effects can change score, tail length, hazards, speed, and bonuses. Runs begin with a 60-second timer, with opportunities to earn extra time.

PUNKCAKE Délicieux offers Windows, macOS, and Linux downloads. Play with a keyboard or gamepad; entering a leaderboard name requires a keyboard at least once. Holding a direction increases movement speed. The free demo has fewer bonuses and unlockable fruit than the paid game.

Edition and Accessibility

Released May 30, 2025, this is the anniversary edition rather than Benjamin Soulé’s original 2015 release. The creator reports no option to disable flashing lights. The video is its itch release trailer; outer-border behavior remains unqualified.
