Midway’s Checkmate allows up to four players to guide blocks that leave permanent trails. Force opponents into trails or the boundary while keeping your own route open.

Solo and Local Play

Released in 1977 for arcade cabinets. Solo play supplies three computer opponents. The museum also documents an instant replay after play. Despite its title, this is not a chess game.
